Lake Tschida

Lake Tschida is a reservoir located in the southwestern part of North Dakota. It was created in 1949 by the construction of a dam on the Heart River, which is a tributary of the Missouri River. The lake has a surface area of 4,064 acres and a maximum depth of 50 feet. It is popular for fishing, boating, and camping and is managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The lake also offers a variety of recreational activities such as hiking, biking, and wildlife watching.
